Quality of Everyday Life
Quality of Everyday Life
The Lower Church Gallery showcases the first exhibition from the Polish Contemporary Art Group. The galleries have been transformed into a place of contemplation and appreciation of the “ordinary” aspects of day to day life.
The exhibition brings together fourteen artists and a collective of authors all of whom are in various stages of their artistic practices. They exemplify different takes on “everyday life” celebrations, cherishing relationships with family, friends and neighbours, treasuring the fleeting moments whilst they last but also when they pass.
The works evoke an understanding of the often overlooked but invaluable experiences that everyday occurrences can offer.
