A Death Café is a friendly gathering, a chat about life and death over a cuppa. We talk about how views of death affect how we live our lives, and how experiences of life impact on attitudes to death. Attendees’ experience ranges widely. There are no experts.

One may have experienced traumatic loss, another may have no experience of death. One may be struggling with grief or ill health, another just curious. Everyone is free to share or not, ask questions, tell their story, hear others’ views, listen and learn. (Bring an object or photo that prompts thinking.)
