The programming department looks after the live performance elements at Summerhall, such as Theatre, Dance, Physical Theatre and Performance Art.

As well as Summerhall’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe Programme, the department has also been awarded funding from Creative Scotland to pilot an Artists Development Programme outside of August.
