Produced by the Safdie Brothers (Uncut Gems, Good Time) and directed by Owen Kline in his directorial debut, Funny Pages follows Robert, a teenager searching for independence and a breakthrough into a career as a cartoonist. Rejecting his cosy suburban upbringing, Robert moves to a questionable lodging on the outskirts of Trenton in the name of soul-searching where he meets a former colour assistant of Image Comics. Full of wit and plenty of character.
