Obvious Unrest
Company: Faux Theatre Collective
Supporting: Creative Scotland
A high impact, but grittly low-tech visual theatre exploration of the force and grip of intense mood. Stark text free theatre exploring the effects of depression on human functioning – compellingly performed by Ana Almeida, accompanied by a masterful live score by DaveBeMac – this piece is the culmination of a creative development initiative funded by Creative Scotland and first performed at MANIPULATE Festival 2018.
Psychotherapist and theatre maker Francisca Morton is a masterful interpreter – she confidently dives into a silent dialogue about a life spiralling out of control using nothing more than guile, wit and a sheet of polythene.
