Oh Mercy! / Roubaix, une lumière (15+)

A fictionalised adaptation of the 2008 French TV documentary Roubaix commissariat central, which followed a determined police officer and his colleagues in Roubaix, near Lille, as they deal with a range of crimes, in particular the shocking homicide of an old woman. Arnaud Desplechin plunges into the lives of the marginalised and the destitute and reveals the calm and experienced but firm Captain Daoud (played by Roschdy Zem). Among the potential suspects are the neighbours who report the crime, Claude and Marie (Léa Seydoux and Sara Forestier).
