Revolt!

Revolt is back at Summerhall for its third edition of queer experimentalism and techno madness. Artists Shawn Nayar and Amelia Clark – both undertaking degrees in Fine Art at ECA – will be showcasing some of their work, including provocative nude imagery and large scale paintings alongside graphics from resident artist Harley Beentjes. Expect a curated selection of techno, club and experimental electronic music from Glasgow-based production and DJ duo qik.uh from 11pm-1am and resident DJ Petfood from 1am-3am.

Revolt is our attempt at interlacing the clubnight experience with a holistic experience of creativity and experimentation. Each edition features a unique art installation made by artists from Edinburgh and beyond, as well as uniquely-crafted sounds and visuals from residents Petfood and Harley Beentjes.

Creating a space that allows for total freedom of expression without boundary is one of our central tenets. Revolt is a space for liberation of all kinds. Respecting your fellow partygoer is an obvious imperative. As such, we will not tolerate any breaches or abuses of any kind on the night.
