As dusk settles in on a cold wet spring evening, a misty veil of haar hangs in the air. Against this muted backdrop, the silhouette of an old college looms, its weathered façade beckoning you to explore further. 

As you venture in, the distant echoes of a rhythmic sound can be heard in the distance. You journey deeper into the old college and the sound turns into a primal beat echoing through empty corridors. Its rhythm pulls you inexorably forward, a siren’s call in the dimness, growing stronger with every step. 

At last, you stand before a door at the end of a dimly lit corridor, it looks like the entrance to an old experimental lab. The rhythmic beats are now thundering in your ears. With a deep breath, you reach out and push the door open…

SMIFF is a DJ, Producer & Promoter hailing from Edinburgh in Scotland. He brings a unique & refreshing take on club music, forming a fusion between Techno & UK Bass music to create a high energy, raw and percussive sound. This resulted in his most recent mix with Action Replay Codes being featured as Resident Advisor’s ‘Mix of the Day’. 

effua was born in Scotland, raised in an Afro diasporic community, self proclaimed jersey – junglist ‘effua’ uses the diversity of sounds which influenced her upbringing to take audiences on a bass driven journey. Growing up online as a Gen – Z youth has exposed ‘effua’ to a variety of musical cultures, gifting her the musical knowledge of someone twice her age. Her talents has seen her play along esteemed artists such as LSDXOXO, Jossy Mitsu, Ase Manual, JYOTY and Nikki Nair.
