Celebrated American artist David Michalek pairs his exhibtion ‘Figure Studies’ with a special and very comprehensive discussion about the genesis of the concept, the research and development of the methodology, the casting process and production of the work which pays homage to the cinematic and photographic pioneers Eadweard Muybridge and Etienne Jules-Marey.
