ANATOMY #23: All Hail Discordia

Art is only the dream of a designated comfort break. Parody is the pawn of power. Creativity is an advertising space. Breath is a privilege and a luxury. The world is aflame… All hail discordia! Performance cabaret ANATOMY return to Summerhall for their first live show in three years, bringing a mixture of live-art shenanigans and theatrical tomfoolery.

Since our last show, the world has been a fever dream. New disciplines and practices have emerged and flourished in bedrooms and make-shift studios underneath work-from-home desks. We have scoured for these and will present a selection of fearless new performances, tributes to Discordia and golden apples.

Past ANATOMY events have featured dance, film, burlesque, clown, poetry, juggling, bondage, lip-sync, installation, endurance and monsters. In this ravaged and delirious world, who knows what the future will bring?
