Eloi (ee-loy) are an Edinburgh-based seven-piece jazz group who have been playing together in various forms for many years. Their debut EP Maya was released in 2022. Eloi‘s music comprises driving rhythms, punchy horn lines, and buoyant vocal melodies in an energetic sound that is refined in the studio and comes to life at their live events.
Characterised by groove and improvisation, Eloi inspire to create a relaxed, inclusive and active atmosphere at their gigs, with audience participation through dance. This summer, join Eloi in celebration of their latest EP Bloom Again, where they will be playing a set of varied material, new and old, that will make you dance, laugh, make faces and cry tears of funk.
