Miss World in the Old Lab

Presenting Miss World in a brand new setting… Summerhall’s Old Lab!

Tucked away inside the old vet school, the Old Lab is an intimate, unadorned space ready for the Miss World folk to put our stamp on it.

We’re using 3D visuals created by our longest resident Aphid and decor to transform the space into our personal musical beauty pageant. Everyone’s a winner x x x

We have SALAM KITTY joining us from Glasgow! Beginning their DJ journey in 2020 in Edinburgh, Salam Kitty (FKA Halal Kitty) co-founded Mojxmma alongside Jam Eye out of necessity for a safe space for Queer People of Colour in the city. Now based in Glasgow, resident at Clyde Built Radio, they draw inspiration from their Arabic, African and Scottish roots to weave together eclectic, high energy sets across the genre spectrum. Expect electro, UK bass and techno, Latin club and everything inbetween.

Also joining us for our adventure out of the Cowgate is 140’s princess ZO3! Co-founder of Chromatic at The Bongo Club, ZO3 has been working hard setting up impeccably programmed nights which have been taking Edinburgh by storm. ZO3’s also been tearing it up with her residency at Form696 showcasing her penchant for grime, and spinning dubstep at specialist night Nook.

Our newest resident MIIRA has been on fire lately, shelling it for Chromatic, Midnight Bass and a particularly memorable 140 warmup for Eich at one of our last Miss World nights. They will be going b2b with MALICDEEJAY, who has recently launched a brand new project faerie circle, soon to be throwing ethereal club nights across the capital, as well as beginning a residency with EHFM as co-presenter of show ratarsed. The pair are an unstoppable duo, who could come out with anything from breaks to hardcore, donk and hyperpop.
