Miss World in The Old Lab

Presenting Miss World’s second outing to Summerhall’s Old Lab! Tucked away inside the old vet school, the Old Lab is an intimate, unadorned space ready for the Miss World folk to put our stamp on it.

Say hiya to RIA! As well as being a singer songwriter, recently performing for Amplify at The Queens Hall, Ria is no stranger to the Edinburgh club circuit. Longtime resident at Femmergy and featuring on lineups at Q’IWA vogue focused night and SweatBox Summer Jam, you can expect anything from queer party faves and playful club edits to soca and dancehall from RIA’s Old Lab set.

We’re welcoming Edinburgh powerhouse AL GU for their first Miss World appearance! Al’s programming fingers are just about in every Edinburgh pie, from recently launched hardcore faerie circle with partner in crime malicedeejay, to stacked Lost In Leith lineups at Slàinte Mhath which they debuted in Berlin last year. On the decks, al gu brings sexy booty bangers, tongue in cheek edits and deep cuts. Bopping guaranteed.

Miss World resident MIIRA has been on fire lately, shelling it for Headset’s Gay Garage, a very grimey Form696, their EHFM residency and faerie circle – miira’s accolades speaking for themselves to their genre versatility and talent.

Familiar face, Miss World resident FEENA will be heating the night up from early with signature bass heavy sounds, taking inspiration from dub and techno iterations of dancehall to welcome you to the space.
