Adventures With Clay

Emma makes her ceramics from her studio at Summerhall. Her process starts mainly with throwing on the potters wheel, but she also utilises a technique called slip casting to create functional homewares such as mugs, vases, bowls and plates from stoneware.

Emma is drawn to colour and her adventurous approach to her practice has led her work to be instantly identifiable by her complex layered glazes.

Prices start from £15 for a whisky cup, through to £45 for a large vase.
