Silverlines

Silverlines is my outlet for my handcrafted silver metal clay jewellery and I am based in my home studio in the Scottish Highlands. I create ethical silver jewellery from recycled silver and I use the natural world as inspiration for my designs.

In particular I like using leaves as themes for my pieces, as they are elegant, beautiful and peaceful all at the same time. The texture and detail of some leaves are exquisite and I like to try and capture that in my work. I also enjoy bringing my pieces to life by occasionally adding stones or pearls and I often use oxidation to highlight my designs.

Most of my pieces are hung on sterling silver chains and earring findings for strength and durability but I do also like using black leather cord for some of necklaces as it provides a lovely contrast to the silver.
