Often using found materials, industrial painting processes and traditional techniques, Fraser Gray and Martin McGuinness employ the processes themselves to construct meaning from what we see, exploring the material possibilities of the mediums they use to investigate the diverse material capabilities of their chosen mediums within their specific context. They embrace a philosophy of learning by doing, continually evolving their art through the iterative creation and development process.
